Membership

Membership within the BC Certified Assayers Foundation is by application to the Treasurer of the Foundation. Individuals and organizations meeting the required qualifications for membership and conditions for membership shall be entitled to the privileges of membership.

Qualifications for Membership and Class of Membership

Individuals elected by the Council of Advisors to be Officers of the Assayers Foundation: Chair, Vice Chair, Past Chair and Secretary	Executive
Representatives named by Government, Institutional or Corporate members	Advisor
Individuals who maintain annual, individual member dues	Individual
Individuals employed by companies who maintain annual, corporate-level member dues	Member
Individuals employed by companies who maintain annual, corporate-level associate-member dues	Associate Member

Conditions of Membership
By requesting membership in the BC Certified Assayers Foundation, you agree to having your contact information made available to the membership for the purpose of enhancing communications directed to help finance the administration of the Certification Program and to encourage young people to become assayers.

Privileges of Membership
i) Voting Privileges
Corporate membership entitles all representatives of a member parent organization to have voting privileges at an Advisory Council meeting; Associate membership entitles one representative from the member parent organization to have voting privileges at an Advisory Council meeting. Individual members have no voting privileges at Advisory Council meetings. However, members in all classes can vote at the Certified Assayers Foundation of British Columbia Annual meeting.

Display of Corporate Logo Privileges
The Assayers Foundation will endeavour to display your corporate logo on the Assayers Foundation website and in relevant printed materials, in a manner that portrays a positive image for all corporate sponsors.
