The Certified Assayers Foundation of British Columbia intends to award an annual scholarship to an assayer-in-training working in a mineral analytical-assay laboratory. When there are sufficient funds, more than one scholarship may be awarded annually. Candidates should be prepared to sit the BC Certified Assayers examinations in the near future. Qualified applicants are invited to apply by letter to:

Applications are due annually before 15-July.

Applicants should summarize their assaying experience and their career goals in their letter. The successful candidate may be asked to give an oral presentation to the Foundation Board of Directors on an assaying topic to be chosen by mutual agreement. If possible, the scholarship will be awarded at a meeting of the Mineral Exploration Group (MEG). The Foundation will pay registration fees and lunch costs for the successful candidate to attend the MEG Meeting.
